fourth week-Monday

Yo~ oops last update was last tuesday
yea
was super bz last week =)
bz using the hot press machine to prepare the film
the surface must be smooth n flat
that's y technique is very very important =.=
i prepare a lot u know~!

then i used the contact anlge analysis equipment to measure the water contact angle =)
quite accurate :D
n last friday was my first presentation to show to our progress to mr. Henry

my supervisor say good but then he say need to improve again

hmm what i can say is all IMPROVED loh
including the GPA n CGPA

hello today is Friday :D
i finish work at 5.15pm n
is going back to Malaysia at 7pm
yeah lala2

i m so happy because can go back homeee
my mum skype me yesterday night =D
she showed me the letter
my application for the scholarship was successful
haha
aw i didnt expect it
suddenly have free money
the amount to me is quite big
had discuss with my mum
i m gonna spend it n get myself a camera
act as a souvenier mah :D

the rest of the money i will buy her a washing machine
aw i need a washing machine at home actually
so lazy to wash my cloths :x
it's A LOT lol
in fact i also dun wan my mum n dad wash their cloths manually lo
with the help of technology
everything is so easy to be done and it's very efficient~

yesterday was the first day of audit =)
my supervisor was super bz hahaha
he was not at his office almost all the time :P

12 March 2012- 2nd week first day

this morning i mostly do admin work
such as photocopy.. filing...typing documents

today Derrick shows me his report about contact angle=D
yea.. i know he is graduate from loughborough university
hmm this make me want to go UK
can i go there to get my master pls~~
shouldnt be a problem.. but i have to leave singapore, leave malaysia,
leave my parents, leave my bf for about 3 years
aw i guess i cant leave them
maybe i shall go there just for travel only //

i quite familiar with the format of his reports
because i was trained to write formal report since i was in Y1
yea.. almost 3pm i going to cafeteria to have my tea break =.=

9 March 2012 fifth day of work

morning~~ :D
time flies~~
now already 2.50pm =)

this morning i went to visit the plant
Mr. Henry bringing some visitors to do plant visit =)
me n hiang wee follwed them, that's y we got d chance
to see how this company works
haha
oh ya
prior to that,
Simon was presenting his master project to us

looks so complicated
a lot of equations that i dun understand at all
he is using melt flow index
n convert it to shear rate
n related it with viscosity
to find out the mixing quality of plastomer

Mr. Henry did gave his comment to his presentation
in fact everybody also gave their presentation to him
except me n hiang wee
haha

oh well
Mr. Henry is a very nice person when chit chatting with him
but when comes to work
or talking about the work-related stuff
he very serious
omg
haha

just now he talk to us
what he said are correct
i should treat myself as a full time stuff here
as i handle the contact angle project
i must be able to do decision
decide what i want to do
em! ok
so now what
organise myself to find out what i want to know :P
because i m a student, if i wrong also nvm =DD
but next time if i m a worker, i wrong is my fault because
it's my job

7 March 2012 3rd day of work

hmm how is today?
i feel sleepy right now xD
my supervisor went out...
yeah :D
but i m bored lol
auditor is coming next week..
everybody here bz with preparing the paper work
my supervisor asked my help to do paper work
such as documentation.. photocopy.. scanning.. n so on
in short! it's so called adming work == lol

oh besides that, i also need to carry on my report based on my finding..
hehe
he dunno how to praise ppl
as in he dunno how to say good job or well done =.=
haha
yesterday i printed my finding in point form to him
i summerize what i found n make it easier to understand xD
today he comes to me n said:" ya, i read the notes that u gave me yesterday.. ur finding is good as in it let us know that the eq for this owk and owrk is the same ;) and we can actually use the software to calculate the result, but we have to do calculate manually before starts to use the software. :)"
hehe
i actually feel happy =)

i finish my admin work very fast =) haha
he never expect i can finish it so fast =)
but when he says:"wa! so fast?"

1st and 2nd day of ITP 5-6 March 2012

Hello :D
It's second day of my itp now
i just come back from tea break
feels a little bit sleepy now
let's talk about my first day of work =)

First day of work i already can feel the stress lol =P
after settle all my admin work,
i starts to work lah :D
Of course i have my own desk n chair
To me, i felt that my office is very cold, the temperature and humidity here are controlled at 23 degree celcius and humidity is less that 50 i think.. which means CANNOT be adjusted arghh BUT i prepared myself a jacket hehehe

In this company - Clariant (Singapore) Ptd Ltd,
workers required to work from 8.30am-5.45pm for Monday until Thursday
However, Friday can go off earlier at 5.15pm =) hooray but p/s: i think 8 hours and 15 mins of woking time very long~~~ i want holiday please~~ or i rather go school study >< at least i could fall in sleep during lesson n i can study myself afterwards :P hahaha but here cannot>< must awake all the time walao A hahaha
hmm ok! i should mind my words.. actually i am not that lazy lah XD

I am in the Research and Development department,
My officer is Mr. Derrick, he is a nice guy.. other collague are Mr. Chong (Malaysian from KL), chee keong, and simon, they all are very nice person also haha :D
oh yea i just realise i m the only girl here lol

Mr. Henry who is the department head assigned me a project to handle aw
it's contact angle measurement..
basically it measure the contact angle of a drop on a solid surface to determine the wettability of solid surface.
I will touch on the surface free energy too.. aw~ a long way to explain the theory part...
nvm it's ok~ i guess i will survice because i feel this is quite interesting hehe
the equipment for contact angle project is new.. it just reached here about 2 weeks ago..
feels excited to use it haha
but i haven't get the chance to use it now.. have to know the theory, bla bla bla then still have to wait for the diiodomethane to reach then only i can start

oh i forgot to mention the tea time.
here we have 2 tea times 10-10.15am and 3-3.15pm

on the first day of work i already know that besides the log book i need to do everyday to report my progress, i also required to submit a formal report and do a presentation at the end of the itp

fine

actually.. i felt that although here is stress. but after work i can relax myself by watching drama and chit chat with my bf to destress=) quite enjoyable.
Also, whenever i think about my bf during working time.. i can destress also hahaha

flashback:
i went to kl last tuesday n spend a few days with my bf =)
moreover, i went to interview hope will get a good news from them haha..

ok continue =.=
i bought sushi from ntuc as my dinner yesterday haha
err i mean this is one of the way that can reward myself after one day of work haha xD
mummy called me at night time..
she is worried about me because this is my first time working at industry area, she worried i cannt get used to it haha
but i told her i m fine =) next time i also have to work in research and development department.. unless i choose to be a teacher or lecturer xD
the only things that i cannot stand it is i have to wake up early in the morning at 6.22am ><
but my mum says: very good ><

another important point to mention!~
although i have my own desktop, BUT i cannot access facebook ~~~~ ahhh
haha
here block all the websites.. all the messenger also cannot be loaded
i can only update my blog..
haha also not bad lah, at least i can "express" my feeling here mah :P

k lah time to stop i should go n do my log book=)
